About.
Chloe MacLeod – Greenock based singer-songwriter – blends melancholy pop music with heartfelt and sobering lyrics. Fond of telling stories - both real and fiction – she evokes sorrow and grief, while allowing freedom to those who relate.

Growing up Chloe was constantly surrounded by music, from the rebellious Green Day, to the artistic and risky Kate Bush. She has sung as soon as she knew how to talk, and started to learn the piano in high school. However, she wouldn’t pick up a guitar until the COVID-19 pandemic as by teaching herself, on an old second-hand guitar, sparked a love within herself that helped to pass the time in lockdown.

In 2021, Chloe released her debut single, ‘Hesitate’ providing an eerie and solemn start to her music career. This was then followed up with her first EP, ‘Songs from Greenock’ which was a genre-bending piece, focusing upon a town that stood still as history seeped and infected its streets.
